"Anchored on Silver Lake" is a 17 1/8” X 22" drawing of a happy sailboat anchored on Ocracoke Island.  For anyone who's never been to Ocracoke, Silver Lake is the name of the salt water harbor in the middle of the town of Ocracoke itself.  Many an orange sunset has been savored by vistors and year round residents of Ocracoke.  I think many if not most of my drawings of Ocracoke are based on Silver Lake...sunsets, seagulls watching a departing ferry, or this one....all capture the Ocracoke feeling and I'm always happy that my Ocracoke drawings and prints are some of my most popular. The original unframed 17 1/8” X 22" original drawing, is framed and archivally matted to 24”x30” behind a piece of museum glass to prevent glare and UV damage, and is offered for 825.00 after being exhibited over the summer. This picture is not eligible for shipping due to its being framed behind museum glass and could incur damage during shipping and must be picked up here in Cary. However the original UNFRAMED art CAN be shipped. No prints are being offered for this piece.
