"A Seagull" is a 14"x18" charcoal drawing I initially drew for my easel piece in my "Carolina Seascapes" exhibit which I planned to leave half finished as a demonstation of a piece of art in progress.  I liked it so much the way it was I decided drawing in a background would destroy the feeling of the picture.  Apparently the AVMA Journal (the national periodical for US veterinarians) felt the same way and decided to put her on the cover of the August, 2019 edition.  The original drawing is sold but signed and numbered, limited edition (1000) archival quality prints (11"x14" image centered on 13"x16" Epson hot press 300 gsm paper) are available for 75.00.
