Portsmouth Island Life Saving Station
"Portsmouth Island Life Saving Station" is an 18"X24" charcoal/pastel drawing of one of the points of interest on Portsmouth Island. A beautiful structure with a load of history, it was a pleasure to draw...one of those that all came together at the end. The life saving station now sits on an abandoned island, the most well-preserved building on Portsmouth, with a special place in the heart of many a Portsmouth Island aficionado. The original is promised to The Friends of Portsmouth Island to serve as a fund raiser to preserve this deserted island in the way it was left when the last people moved away...so the original drawing is unavailable. Signed and numbered, limited edition (250) archival giclee’ prints (11”x14” image centered on 13”x16” Epson hot press 300gsm paper) are available for 75.00. Now a special signed 16”x20” (14”x18” image centered on 16”x20” Epsom hot press 300gsm paper) print in a special limited edition of only 50 is available for 108.00.
