"Southport Sampler" is a 14"x18" charcoal/pastel drawing of a charitable handout to two pelicans in Southport, NC.  Pastel sky and pastel waders and everything else is in hard, medium, and soft charcoal.  A rare type of picture for me to draw getting away from my usual drawings of solitude and thoughtfulness.  I enjoyed drawing it and enjoyed every step of the way from the man to the pelicans and then on to the water, sky, marina, and waterfront.  It was a fun drawing and may be a beginning of more drawings with life, and from there...who knows?  The unframed original is offered for 550.00. Signed and numbered, limited edition (1000) archival quality giclee prints (11"x14" image centered on 13"x16" Epson hot press 300 gsm paper) are available for 75.00.
