“Room With a View” is a big 18”x24” charcoal/pastel drawing of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse on the North Carolina coast in the Cape Hatteras National Park. This is a new angle for a lighthouse drawing..for me. Even though the lighthouse is such a big tall beautiful structure by itself, it’s next to impossible to find an interesting way to draw her. The challenge here was to give you what I hope is an interesting and desirable artistic angle from the inside of the window, but without taking anything away from that beautiful outside view. I think I pulled off the feat pretty well. This one isn’t for sale at this time (the reason I’m showing a zero inventory) and there aren’t any prints planned as of now, as is the case for this new larger size collection I’m trying.
