"Low Tide" is a 14"x18" charcoal drawing of Bonnet Beach on Ocracoke Island. This is a special drawing for lots of reasons. I initially drew the beach and sea oats by themselves and saw it needed more because it just wasn’t an interesting drawing..even though it would’ve been a good painting. Then, after talking to a fellow artist at Hilton Head, it occurred to me that sandpipers would be just the right subject to add. Still one of the most popular prints sold, the original was quickly sold at my "Carolina Seascapes" exhibit. Signed and numbered, limited edition (400) archival quality prints (11"x14" image centered on 13"x16" Epson hot press 300 gsm paper) are available for 75.00.
