“Captain Charlie’s” is an 18”x24” charcoal/pastel drawing of an iconic historic house on Bald Head Island, off the coast of North Carolina. A pleasure to draw, Captain Charlie’s is an Andrew Wyeth-like structure in an Andrew Wyeth-like scene.  Sitting on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean surrounded by natural vegetation, she stands the test of time and weather and is still  a favorite of many people who’ve visited Bald Head Island over the years. This drawing was in exhibit at the Art League of Leland June 1-3 of 2023.  The original drawing was offered for 900.00….and is now sold, however signed and numbered, limited edition (1000), giclee, archival quality prints (11"x14" image centered on 13"x16" hot press heavy 300gsm paper) are available for 75.00.
